CAT DECLAWING BANNED IN 11 CITIES

According to the Veterinary Practice News, declawing cats is now illegal in 11 cities with Austin being the last to join in. Also, being considered in California, Nevada, New Jersey, West Virginia, Mass, and RI.

Dr. Katrina Breitreiter, DVM, DABUP spearheaded the declawing banning and is continuing to work on it being against the law in every State.

Other cities which have banned declawing include, Austin, New York, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Denver and 7 Canadian Provinces.
